The sun was setting over the Caribbean, painting the sky in shades of pink and orange. The beach was less crowded now, but there were still plenty of people lingering to watch the sunset. Couples sat on blankets. Families were packing up their things. A few people were still walking along the shoreline.
Lila walked down to the beach wearing her white bikini. Her heart was pounding in her chest. Julian was already there, sitting on a large beach blanket near the water's edge. He stood up when he saw her and pulled her close, kissing her deeply.
