I was thinking about my second brother, Jericho Feymere.
Jericho was a biochemist.
A brilliant one, according to everyone who knew him.
He held a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences and a PhD in Biochemistry.
I had read some of his published papers, though I’d only understood about half of them.
The man wrote like he was trying to communicate with aliens—precise, technical, and completely devoid of emotion.
Jericho’s research focused on cancer therapeutics, molecular biology, and drug delivery systems, for which he was awarded the prestigious title of Breakthrough Scientist of the Year.
He was only twenty-six, and he’d already achieved more than most scientists did in their entire careers.
