  Zarelle glanced at Calden coldly, then proceeded to open the driver’s door and got into the Mercedes-Benz S-Class.   Her chauffeur had called in sick tonight, so she had to drive herself home.   Calden watched her, his hands in his pockets. “I can give you a ride.”   Zarelle sneered, uninterested in Calden’s offer and what it might imply.   She tried to start the car, turning the key in the ignition, but no matter how many times she tried, it simply wouldn’t start.   Nothing happened except a pathetic clicking sound.   Frustration creased Zarelle’s brow as she attempted to start the car once again, only to face repeated failure.
