Zarelle was getting ready for bed when she got the unexpected call.
She hesitated when she saw the caller ID displayed on her screen.
She had blocked Calden’s number immediately after the divorce, but had been forced to add him back to her contact list after signing the business deal with Ravere and Ash Firm.
What could Calden possibly want from her at this hour?
“I heard about what my father did today.” Calden went straight to the point without preamble.
“So?” Zarelle sat cross-legged on her giant king-sized bed. “Are you going to ask for the ring back as well?”
“Did he put pressure on you?”
“Why do you care?”
