“Let’s get back to the party,” Daniel said. “Mum expects everyone to be there when they cut the cake.”
Zarelle felt a wave of relief wash over her as she realized that Daniel had reverted to the Daniel she knew. Just like that, the two reconciled and headed downstairs together, back to Elsa’s side.
“Daniel, you scared me! I thought you were going to have a big argument with Zarelle,” Elsa exclaimed, visibly relieved to see their reconciliation.
Daniel, with a playful smirk, replied, “How could I bear to argue with our Zarelle darling?”
