William had already conducted a thorough background check on Zarelle. Despite being born into wealth, she was humble and independent, exuding intelligence and courage.
However, what surprised William the most was discovering that she had been previously married to Calden Ashmoor.
William had heard about some of the difficulties she had faced, and unknowingly, he had developed a strong interest in her. He couldn’t help but yearn to know her better.
Perhaps, this time, his family wouldn’t have such strong objections to his choice of lover.
When it was time for their meeting, William took Arnold to the restaurant where he’d made reservations. Upon arrival, Zarelle was already seated, engrossed in her phone with a smile gracing her face from time to time.
