Stephanie had done a lot of homework before coming. She learned of Rupert’s fondness for tea and thus had meticulously selected a high-quality tea set and a variety of premium tea leaves.
And she picked the perfect moment, when the room was filled with people, to present her birthday gift so that everyone could witness the close ties she had with the Blackclaw family.
Rupert received her gift with a polite smile. “Thank you, Miss Sinclair. You truly understand my tastes; your knowledge of tea is impeccable.”
Basking in Rupert’s praise, Stephanie blushed shyly. “I’m glad you like it, Mr. Blackclaw.”
