Thomas had wanted to be teamed up with Zarelle, but Astrid offered to join Zarelle and George before him, causing Thomas to reluctantly step back.
Zarelle’s impression of Astrid so far was limited to her winning the Best Supporting Actress award. However, as they embarked on their treasure hunt with George and Astrid, Zarelle soon realised that Astrid had ulterior motives for being in their group.
“Aah!” Astrid screamed, feigning pain as they climbed up a slope, causing her to stumble and fall into George’s arms.
George, always a gentleman, wouldn’t simply let Astrid fall. He caught her and asked with concern, “Are you okay?”
“I’m… I’m fine. These shoes are just difficult to walk in,” Astrid replied, feigning helplessness.
