“Ryker, it’s okay.”
Julia’s gentle voice immediately drew Ryker’s attention away from Willow. She could already see the answer written across his face before she even finished speaking. Julia almost smiled.
“You and Kylian can go with Beta Kirk and do whatever it is warriors do when they visit other packs,” she continued. “Compare training grounds, talk about patrols, argue about who has the strongest warriors—whatever keeps all of you entertained.”
Kylian chuckled.
“That is a surprisingly accurate description.”
Julia laughed softly before turning serious again.
“I want to see Mira, Ryker.”
The amusement immediately disappeared from Ryker’s expression. He looked at Julia for several seconds, then toward Willow, before returning his gaze to his mate.
“I know you do.”
“Then let me.”
