I have to see Sabrina.
The thought pounds through my head as I lace up my shoes, my hands shaking with a combination of adrenaline and something to panic.
She'll forgive me. She has to.
We have Jake. We have seven years of history, a connection that no amount of time or distance or new relationships can erase.
Ethan Hale might be rich, sure, he might be powerful and everything I'm not.
But he can never replace me in Sabrina's life. He can never take the place of Jake's real father.
