“We should have gone after her. I shouldn’t have listened to you,” Nathan said as he walked back and forth. It had been over a week since we had seen Kate. We had called, and she wouldn’t answer. Her parents told us that we should give her some space so that she could think. Nathan was about to lose it, and honestly, I was too.
It was hard for werewolves to be away from their mates. Nathan and my wolves were upset. I was sure Kate's wolf was upset as well.
“We should kill Mariah and Courtney. This is all their fault,” Nathan said. I wanted to kill them too, but I knew that would be wrong.
“Calm down, Nathan. It wouldn’t be right to kill them. We were the ones who messed around with them. They have been punished,” I said, and Nathan smiled.
