Two weeks Later
I woke up without feeling the warmth of Derek that I was used to. Instead, I reached for him and opened my eyes to see that he was no longer in bed.
"Derek," I said, but there was no answer.
I sat up on the bed and noticed a note on his pillow.
"Flower,
I am sorry that you woke up without me beside you. I am so happy that the day has finally come and that by the end of the day, you will be tied to me forever. Our moms, Kate and Kayla, are waiting for you in the family room to wake up. Please don't overthink anything about tonight and relax.
