Bruno’s point of view
My father taught me that fear was weakness and weakness was death. Today was the inner circle’s gathering and as usual we’ll be using the sealed room. The estate has been awake since dawn. The guards rotated twice before the sun rose, all my guards are men I trusted. This moment could turn sour at anytime but I knew they were capable.
Everyone is well aware of the dangers that might lurk around. News will have reached out to our enemies and those who strive to get rid of the inner circle will try to cause problems for us.
Isabella was asleep when I left the room. I did not wake her and this is not out of kindness but strategy. She doesn’t understand the estate, and I plan on keeping her ignorant of what is going on here. The more ignorant she is, the fewer quest
