When my brother cuts the link I feel like I can't breathe. Zane is immediately in my face. "Fina, what the hell is wrong? I need you to breathe for me. Tell me what happened," he says. "Marcus," I manage to croak out. My mother is on her feet taking my face in her hands. "What did Marcus do? Why are you panicking," she asks. Esme comes to stand next to Zane. I can see the care she still feels for my brother in her eyes.
