A few minutes later, I knock on Zane's door. "Come in," he calls out. When we step inside, he smiles. "Good to see you back in control, Alpha Caspian," he says. "It is good to be back in control, Alpha Zane," Caspian says. "Zane, can you link Nicky to join us? I need to tell you a few things that we've learned and about what happens next." His smile fades and his eyes glaze over. "She is on her way," he says. Five minutes later, Nicky comes bounding in and plops down on the leather couch.
"What's happening" she asks. I jump right into everything my father told us. Zane and Nicky growl when they hear that we believe Marcus is the one that gave Caspian the potion. "You have to be kidding me. He can't be that stupid, can he," Nicky asks. "What if he isn't stupid at all," Zane comments next.
