"How f**king dare you hit your pup," he growls, stepping toward her. "Alpha, you don't understand," she starts to say, and he cuts her off with another growl. "You don't understand what it means to love your children unconditionally. You don't understand that abuse of any kind will not be tolerated in this pack. Now I suggest you return to your quarters while I decide on a proper punishment for what I just witnessed," he says, allowing his aura to surround her.
She bears her neck and whimpers. "Leave," he growls, and she turns like a scolded child. Once she is out of sight, the Alpha turns toward me. He touches my cheek where her fist connected and smiles. "Willow is healing the bruise quickly," he says dropping his hand back to his side. "How many times has she hit you, Abby," he asks.
