Idara “You should be punished for what you just did, shouldn’t you?” Helio asked, his voice dropping into that low, dangerous tone I knew too well. The laughter instantly died on my lips. “No… hell no,” I protested, trying to feign ignorance. “I should go to sleep now.” I attempted to make a quick escape, but he caught my arm effortlessly and scooped me up into his arms as if I weighed nothing at all. “I thought someone said they had already slept enough today?” he teased as he began walking toward our bedroom. I chuckled nervously. “Yes, but… I suddenly feel very sleepy again.” My weak excuse only made him smile. I kept laughing, but deep down I knew he wasn’t listening to any of my nonsense. He had already made up his mind. Tonight, Helio was going to make love to me senseless…
