Ashton’s POV I move around the kitchen, tidying up on autopilot. I can hear my daughter giggling loudly, punctuated by the splashing of water as she takes her bath. My gut twists uncomfortably; she’s getting very comfortable with Luna . . . too comfortable, and honestly . . . so am I. It is a dangerous slope, because she’ll be leaving soon . . . not that I’ve done anything to find someone to replace her. ‘She’s leaving,’ I growl to myself firmly. ‘You need to find a real nanny, and fast.’ I nod decisively.
