Luna’s POV The man from the park grins sheepishly. ‘Yeah, sorry, I saw you over here and came to say hello, I didn’t mean to make you jump.’ He glances down at the sodden, coffee stained napkins in his hand and grimaces. ‘S.hit, I wrecked your drink, I’ll get you a new one . . .’ ‘No, that’s not necessary . . .’ I start quickly, but he’s already shaking his head at me. ‘I caused you to lose your drink, I need to replace it, now what was it?’ he asks. ‘A flat white with one sugar’ I reply automatically, unable to stop myself from answering a direct question. ‘But you really don’t . . .’ I’m too late.
