Luna’s POV I wake up to the feeling of something poking against my cheek. I prise open my eyes, squinting at the blurry shape hovering just inches from my face, realising slowly that they were poking me with their finger. My hand slides out from beneath the warmth of my covers, blindly sweeping across the bedside table for my glasses, but I find nothing but empty, polished wood. ‘Your glasses are in the bathroom,’ Beth’s voice states as she moves closer to my face. ‘I’ll get them for you’ she adds before the fuzzy shape darts away, returning seconds later and thrusts the cold, plastic frames into my hand.
