The bar's busy tonight, Aces doing what Aces always does on a Friday, dim lighting, good music loud enough to justify leaning in close, and a crowd that knows exactly who plays for the Hawks without making too big a deal out of it. It's why I like this place. Nobody here's trying to get their photo with me for i********:. They just want a good night, same as I do.
I’m here alone, my one time drinking buddies are no longer interested in the dating life, each one of them now tied to a woman, except Tank, who I’m not sure is even interested in women as I’ve never seen him take one home. He bailed on me tonight as well though, I’m unsurprised, he always is a miserable b.astard. I still love the guy though.
