Luna’s POV ‘Girl! We need coffee! One plain black and my order,’ my boss’s voice barks through the intercom, the command echoing sharply before the line cuts to a dead silence. I scowl at the sleek phone on my desk, my bitterness simmering. Girl. That has been my sole identity in this office since I joined the public relations department two years ago. ‘My name is Luna,’ I grit out under my breath, the words barely a ghost of a sound. I’m far too much of a damn coward to actually say it out loud. I loathe this timid streak that dominates me; I want to march into my asshole boss’s office, slam my hands down on his mahogany desk, and yell that my name is Luna, not Girl, that I am a professional assistant hired to help manage the company image not a glorified intern meant to get his coffee
