Ashton’s POV The warmth of Luna’s hand in mine is almost dizzying. For the past week, the space between us has felt like a physical chasm, one I carved out myself because of the sheer, crushing guilt I have felt from hurting her. Even though it was an accident, seeing the pain in her eyes, pain I put there, nearly tore me apart. I swore to myself I wouldn't touch her, wouldn't push her, and wouldn't even suggest sharing a bed until she was completely, unequivocally ready.
