Kane’s POV
‘Your mum saw it’ Brandy breathes excitedly, ‘she saw the spark in you.’
I nod, ‘yup, she admitted after a couple of years that she was actually a figure skater in high school and college, it was how her and my dad met. I’d honestly believed that my love of the ice came from my dad, but in fact it was my mum too.’
Brandy nods, taking a sip of her soda, ‘you still haven’t told me about your sisters though, what happened?’
I nod, ‘Well, as you know, mum no longer worked on a Saturday morning, that was now unofficially our time. We’d go to practice, then we’d head out afterwards for a milkshake or a soda or something, sometimes we’d stop at the grocery store to pick up some shopping before heading home for a late lunch.
