Luna’s POV Moisture clings to the mirror above the basin of the spacious family bathroom across from Beth’s bedroom. I bathe the little girl carefully, the scent of baby shampoo rising in the humid air as she splashes and swirls her toys through the ripples on the surface of the water. I massage a rich lather into her hair, carefully shielding her brow as I start to rinse her locks clean again. ‘You didn’t get it in my eyes,’ the little girl gasps as I wash out the last of the suds. ‘Daddy always splashes my eyes, that’s why I hate having my hair washed, but you didn’t do it at all!’ I nod, a warm smile tugging at my lips. ‘It’s something I learned as a little girl,’ I tell her. ‘I didn’t like having water in my eyes either, so I learned to wash it myself and how to do it without splash
