Ashton’s POV I linger in the bath for as long as possible, desperately trying to convince myself that I’m merely relaxing the knotted muscles in my shoulder for the upcoming games. In truth, I know full well that I’m just avoiding the woman living in my house, why? I don’t know but, I seem to always feel weird around her, and I don’t like it. I even go as far as to use the hair dryer to dry my hair rather than the quick towel dry I usually do, but eventually, I run out of excuses and have no choice but to head back downstairs again. As I descend the stairs, the rich, savoury aroma of homemade chicken casserole wafts through the hallway toward me. It smells incredible, so delicious that my mouth actually starts to water.
