Ashton’s POV Pressing my lips to my fist to seal our deal, I lean back and eye my daughter’s chocolate covered face. ‘Okay, deal sealed,’ I state. ‘Now, if you are done, you need to go and wash your face. I’ve laid out your clothes on your bed, so get dressed and I’ll be up to do your hair before I leave.’ The five year old immediately nods, sliding from her chair and races toward the door, disappearing in a blur of energy.
