Luna’s POV I pull into one of the sun drenched parking spots at the local mall, cutting the engine as the hum of the SUV fades into silence. Behind me, Beth unclips her seatbelt and slides to the floor, sticking her head through the gap between the front seats to peer up at the towering glass fronted building ahead of us. I unclip my own seatbelt and turn toward the little girl, who is practically vibrating with impatient excitement. ‘What are we getting? Can we get ice cream first? Or candy?
