'I don't know how to do this,' I admit finally, voice barely rising above a quiet whisper. 'Being someone's . . . being wanted like this. Properly. Permanently . . . what if I’m not good enough, what if I mess it up?'
‘You won’t,' Ashton replies softly, his gaze locked onto mine with an intensity that makes my breath catch. 'But if you do, then we will figure it out together. We’ll take this slowly, if that's what you need, because that is what two people that love each other do, Kitten. They figure everything out as a team.'
