Ashton’s POV I don’t know what the f***k I was expecting, but I didn’t think for a minute that Luna was going to come back with a man in his eighties, leaning heavily on a cane. Reaching the passenger side of my SUV, she pulls open the door. The old man meets my shocked gaze with a surly glare that could rival Tank’s as he peruses me. ‘I know you, you’re that Devil fella, the hockey player,’ the old man grunts, before turning back to Luna. ‘You work for the Devil?’ he demands, a little forcefully. Luna smiles warmly down at him, seemingly unbothered by his tone. ‘I am looking after Mr Deneko’s daughter for him until he finds a permanent nanny,’ she replies.
