Luna’s POV
We pull up outside of the ice cream shop and climb out of the SUV, Beth’s small hand automatically finds mine as we head inside, the air conditioning hitting us both as we enter with Ashton behind us.
The little girl makes a beeline for the large, refrigerated cabinets that line one side of the store, her smile widening as she looks over the huge selection on offer. My own eyes go wide at the sheer volume of flavours, I didn’t even know that this many varieties existed. I read over a few of the names, some are normal like Strawberry and coffee, others are strange concoctions like cherry berry cola and caramel biscuit banana cream pie.
‘Hi, welcome to The Cream Team, where every scoop is a dream come true. What can I get for you?’ a chirpy teenager asks from behind the counter
