I used the mind-link command, and my voice boomed in the heads of all the members of the pack. "Stay in your homes. Do not go out until the sun rises again. The Alpha is doing business with Luna.” I did not have to dwell much on telling them that. They saw the true and great energy of my wolf. The pack house cleared in minutes. Everything became quiet in the backyard again. It was a large piece of green grass and stone walks to the high perimeter wall.
I walked Lyra down the corridor in the cold night air. She was wearing a thin nightgown that could do nothing much to hide the shape of her body. My palm was hot on hers as I quickly caught her hand. The bond needed us to f**k again more than we had been doing in the study.
