"Report by 9pm at my office... from Mr. Justus."
As that text popped on my screen, I was shocked. Had I been accepted into the company? The application was just two days ago….
But why was the application date that late? Why not during the day?
I was whispering those words to myself, staring at the few people leaving their various offices.
The tall glass building was so shocking that my heart was racing as I got there. The time was already 8:55 PM. I stared at the glass door to see my face in the mirror.
It was very clear… I was in a tight black skirt and a white blouse with black heels.
I was ready to work as a secretary.
The elevator brought me to the building's highest point. I gently knocked on the CEO office door after reaching it.
A deep voice came in return,
