Chapter 65
Emma’s POV
Sunlight woke me, and I wanted to ignore it. I was still tired and wanted to get more sleep, but the sunlight was annoying. I opened one eye to see how much longer I could sleep before my alarm went off, only to notice it was almost 8 a.m. Nothing wakes you up faster than realizing that I’m supposed to be leaving now, and I’m late. I started to panic and sit up, and I realized there was a heavy arm around me.
I looked back at Colton, who was also asleep, and told him, “Babe, it’s almost eight.”
He has to be at work too, but at least his work was close. Mine wasn’t. Looks like I’m going to have to rush to get there in time. Colton woke just as quickly as I did. Thankfully, we showered sometimes around 2 am after another vigorous round together.
