Emma’s POV
One Month Later:
A month had passed in a flash. Easter was over, and I was taking a few days off to go back to Atlanta. We had a convoy on the road. Brooks and Mom were in the first car. Mom was going to take us straight to the Hotel. Della and Carter were riding with them.
My grandparents were in the second car with Hazel and Barton. They were excited to return to Atlanta for a visit and to show off our former home to the group. We were in the third vehicle, and Colton was driving his truck. He was holding my hand, absentmindedly rubbing the back of it with his thumb. Caden and Parker were behind us, with the kids.
Connor and Casidy were right behind them, and Craig was riding with them. All the extra luggage was stored under the cover in Colton's truck.
