Emma’s POV
I kept my foot down and refused to leave Colton here alone. Colton wasn’t thrilled about my insistence to stay, but he didn’t push for me to go home with Caden and Parker for the night. They dropped by the room before they left the hospital for the day. I knew that was Caden’s idea. I knew I was right because Parker didn’t speak while they were in the room.
Caden left with Carter to go get their vehicles to pick everyone up at the entrance. I’m quite sure Parker is going to straighten Caden out tonight. She knew I wasn’t going to leave Colton. I could tell she completely understood how I felt. Carter called Della when they were downstairs, and the room suddenly fell silent after they all left.
