Emma’s POV
I’m still shocked by the nerve he had to show up like this. What did he think I was going to do? Run to him and take him back? Did he think I was going to thank him for apologizing? Mom was right. I had nothing else to add to what she said, yet he just kept standing there. He honestly thought I was going to take him back.
As if that’s going to happen. He did what he wanted. Slept with Noel, yet honestly thought that he could come back to me? Sure, I’ll get right on that, right after hell freezes over. I guess I’m going to have to be the one to set him straight, but we still have customers in here getting their orders. Thankfully, they were to-go orders, so they won’t be hanging out. I gave them a pointed look after looking back at Brett. He took the hint.
