Emma’s POV
Brent and Noel had left and gone back to Atlanta. We didn’t see them on the way back home. I had no issues on the way home. Mom went over to Brooks' house with him because he was going to show her what he had done to the place. I was happy to let them have some time alone together. I had done as Colton asked and called my grandpa on the way home. It was almost like he was waiting for my call.
"Emma, are you feeling better, sweetheart? I'm sorry that you went home. I shouldn't have interfered last night. I spoke to Colton, and he's a good man. I give you my blessing," my grandfather told me. I was stunned by his complete turnaround from last night.
