Colton texted me that he would stop by to pick up more clothes to bring to my house on his way home today. He was planning to stay with me now that he knew Mom wasn’t living with me anymore. I had just come out of the kitchen to sit with my grandparents, Cassidy, and Connor, when Mom and Brooks arrived. They mentioned they had news for both Connor and me, which was the official reason for their drop-in.
