Halton’s POV
I have to admit that my palms were already sweating. I was about to go up after the Detectives do, and my words would most likely tear Joan’s case completely apart. I never loved her, not like I loved Andrea. But Joan was still the mother of my child, and we had been fairly happy over the last 26 years. I pushed down the guilt, reminding myself that I didn't need to feel guilty for telling the truth. Joan had tried to kill Emma; she deserved everything that was about to come to her.
