Colton’s POV
I have never been more scared in my life than I was when Wade told me that someone had shot at Emma. I was glad he told me she was uninjured in the same sentence. I was absolutely sure that she wasn’t fine. I’ve been shot at before, and having a gun pointed at you is terrifying. All I could think about was the fact that someone tried to kill my Emma. I couldn’t let that slide. While Craig drove me to the hospital, I thought about who was behind it.
