“Joan, what were you thinking out there? I warned you before about the prosecutor. He's looking for a reason to make you look worse in front of the jury. He's going to charge you with making threats. Why would you go after Emma again? Let me remind you, because you clearly need it, that she's the victim here,” Derrick told me.
