Emma’s POV
I was starting to doubt Kimberly’s sanity. That scream she just made had made the hair on my arms stand up. I remember reading books about banshees at night before bed. I have to admit, the sound she just made made me think of them immediately. It was obvious that she wanted me dead, and I wanted them to take her away.
“Wade, we would like to get some rest. This can't be easy on Colton, having to face her like this. Besides, I need to get my bed brought back in here, so we can get some sleep. Can you go ahead and take her to jail, please? I don’t want to look at her anymore, either,” I asked.
