Calissa’s POV
One Month Later
The trial begins today. They had given Judy and me the week off from school and all of our assignments. We did all the schoolwork on Saturday. I knew this would be a stressful week for me, so after I did the school work, I cleaned the condo. On Sunday, we went grocery shopping for the week, and I cooked two main dishes. We will only have to warm something up when we come back home. I knew that I would most likely be emotionally drained from the trial.
I didn’t want to think about what I would have to talk about in front of strangers. It was stressful to even think about, let alone speak about it. I didn’t want to do it, but it was the last step. This nightmare wouldn’t be over until this was done. I didn’t really care much about the other three
