Calissa’s POV
FIVE MONTHS LATER
Time moved by quickly, and before we knew it, the baby was here. His arrival was the busiest and happiest time of my life. He arrived on the seventh of February. Before I knew it, it was suddenly May. I had finally gotten a pattern down with the baby by the end of May. We had named him Zale, which means sea strength. We both wanted to name him after our father’s, or Poseidon. But we knew we would get some looks naming our baby after Poseidon. It would have to be his middle name. So that was what we planned to do, and we started with Poseidon being Zale’s middle name.
We wanted to pay tribute to him. I wanted to thank him, as he was the one who made me a blessed mermaid. My life would have been very different if he hadn’t. I may have never met
