Calissa’s POV
We got up early to leave. I didn’t have to make breakfast this morning. We would eat with Andreas’ family before we met Poseidon and started the trial. I was both excited and nervous. Not everyone gets an audience with him. He does not leave the Golden Coral Palace very often. Andreas told me to stay calm, reminding me, “He already loves you, Calissa, do not fear. That is why he made you his blessed mermaid.”
Breakfast went very well, and the whole table was excitedly talking. I had not been here since that one visit where I met Iris, and this was a much more pleasant meal. Judy, Nicholas, and Alexander were also here with us. They would come down with us along with Andreas’ whole family. My cousin Asherah was also here, and Peter had big news for his family. I
