Calissa is basically done with school, as everything is finished today. Judy and Nicholas both told me that she had already turned her books in at the end of her classes. I was going to be the one to pick her up from school. I knew that her mother and grandmother had been staying away from her for the last three months. I was honestly glad for it, as they didn’t deserve one penny more than what Kano had already given them. As far as I was concerned, he had been more than generous with them both.
