“Ms. Whitlock, your case is not a simple one. When you fell, I am assuming that you were moving rather quickly. The force from your fall makes this injury troubling to me. The tip of the blade hit your zygomatic bone, and the tip of the knife broke off from the force of it. The tip is now embedded in bone. It looks as if the knife being driven in is not all of the problem, as you have fractured the zygomatic bone itself. We will have to go in, remove the knife and the tip, and see what other damage is done. It looks like the zygomatic nerve was cut and it will have to be repaired. You need to be prepared. We will do our best, but there is a lot of damage. I will not know exactly how severe it is until we take you into surgery. You might need to repair the zygomat
