Calissa’s POV
“Mrs. Conrad, would you please take the stand?” Tobias asked me.
I stood up and walked up to sit in the booth next to the judge. I was nervous. This was it, and I reminded myself that everything would work out. I knew that Liam’s father, Jared, had been scared of Tobias when he brought Liam to the police station to apologize to me. I knew I could trust and depend on Tobias to take care of this for me. I knew I just needed to answer the questions honestly.
