“Who are you talking about?” He snarled. “I remember just fine. I'll have your heads if you assume nonsense about me.”
“Y-Yes. Forgive me, Alpha-”
“You really don't…” I held his gaze, tears streaming down my face with my fists by my side. “... Remember me?”
He stared at me, unimpressed and unmoved. Just like all the other times in the past before his lips curled in irritation. “Are you deaf?”
My heart sank, breaking into a million pieces.
“What more do I remember about you besides your wolfless spirit?” He questioned, getting angry for no reason. “Is there anything else-”
“Alpha,” Ralph walked past me, his body shielding me from Karson's penetrative and condescending eyes. “I'm so glad you're okay. We were all so worried.”
